 Volunteers with the police Department provide invaluable service to the department and the public.
Duties of the volunteers include; secretarial duties, transporting police vehicles for routine maintenance,
marking abandon vehicles, patrolling the greenbelt, assistance at public demonstrations, child identification
(finger printing & photographs), and bicycle registration.
Persons interested in becoming a volunteer have to fill out an application, pass a background check and
urinalysis test for drugs.
